BESTEK has its hands in numerous products related to charging and the one they asked me to review is a practical device private investigators can use on a daily basis and I do mean daily. I was sent the Bestek 7 USB port charging station to review and below is my review.

BESTEK 7 USB Port Charging Station Features
The Amazon sales page indicates they use Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
There is a Smart Security Chip Protection System that provides temperature protection along with overcurrent protection, surge protection, automatic reset protection and output short circuit protection.
This device has Type-C Output for charging devices like the Nexus 6P, Lumia 950/ 950XL, Nokia N1 and other Type-C devices. The rest (6) of the outputs are standard USB ports.
With Smart Charging Technology devices receive the safest charge at the maximum possible speed.
How Fast Does the BESTEK 7 USB Port Charging Station Charge?
Since charging is the only function of this device I was really hoping to be impressed. Most charging stations I have tested provided an average charge speed which is fine but faster is always better in my opinion when it comes to charging devices.
As always I tested this charger against my quick charge plug that came with my Samsung Note 5 which has never been defeated by any other charging device.
Using the BESTEK 7 USB Port Charging Station
I first plugged in the BESTEK 7 USB port charging station to my phone. My phone was at 18% at that time. While plugged in my phone indicated the phone would be completely charged at within 1 hour and 34 minutes.
Using the Samsung Quick Charger
I plugged in the Samsung quick charger immediately after testing the BESTEK 7 USB port charging station and while at 18% my phone indicated the phone would be completely charged at within 1 hour and 33 minutes.
I concluded that the BESTEK 7 USB port charging station basically charges just as fast as my Samsung quick charger which was a pleasant surprise.
Final Thoughts
When I first unboxed this charging station it reminded me of an Apple product because it looked so refined and sleek. Its one of those devices that looks sophisticated and is still functional. So for those who want this on their desk, it won’t be ugly looking.
I also envisioned taking this device with me when traveling away from home. I could picture using this in the hotel to charge my devices while researching or writing reports. It is small and compact so it won’t take up much room in my luggage.
As I previously stated I was blown away by the charge speed. The fact that it has six USB ports that charge devices quickly means I don’t only have to depend on my Samsung plug to charge my devices quickly.
This is a small and powerful charging station that would beneficial for any private investigator to have on hand to charge multiple devices at once.
