FOCUSPOWER F10 Mini Bluetooth Earbud Review #203

private Investigator tips

Headphones continue to be made smaller and smaller while being functional as both headphones and wireless microphones.  FOCUSPOWER created a single headphone that accomplishes both all by itself and that is why I had to share this review of the FOCUSPOWER F10 Mini Bluetooth earbud.

I purchased the FOCUSPOWER F10 Mini Bluetooth Earbud because I needed another headphone/microphone to keep hands free when driving and making calls.  I will admit that I geek out on many things which include headphones, power banks and spy cameras as a private investigator. So I am really excited to share this review with you.

In this review, I will be covering the following

  • What is in the Box
  • Specifications
  • Functions
  • Pros and Cons
  • Final thoughts

Functions

Though I won’t likely use all the functions of the device personally, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t know about them.  Here is a list of simple functions that the FOCUSPOWER F10 mini Bluetooth earbud can do.

Answer an Incoming Call

When receiving a call all you have to do is press the multifunction button quickly and it will accept the call. You will hear “Call Accept” in the earbud.

Reject an Incoming Call

With a longer press of the multifunction button on the earbud, it will reject an incoming call.  You will hear a voice prompt saying, “Call rejected.”

End a Call

You can end the call by quickly pressing the multifunction button.

Hang up a Current Call and Accept a Call Waiting Call

When receiving a call while on a call you can quickly press the multifunction button and it will hang up the current call and receive the incoming call.  (I did not test this feature).

Hold the Current Call While Receiving a Waiting Call

When receiving a call while on a call you can put the call on hold and receive the incoming call by pressing the multifunction button for 2 seconds.  To return back to the original call press the multifunction button again for 2 seconds.

Music Play and Pause

When listening to music or watching a video you can quickly press the multifunction button on the earbud and it will pause.  If you press it again it will play again. This was tested and it worked perfectly.

Call the Last Dialed Number

By double-clicking the multifunction button on the earbud you can automatically dial the last dialed number.  I tested this and it worked perfectly.

Pros and Cons of the FOCUSPOWER F10 Mini Bluetooth Earbud

Pros

Audio is Good

When I used this to make calls I could hear the other party clearly with no problems.  I also listened to podcasts and youtube videos when the device was connected to my phone and I was very pleased.  I had no issues with the audio.

Fit is Good

It is very small but fits very firm and comfortable in my ear.  I never feel as though it is going to fall out at any time (even when I shake my head in various directions)

Decent Talk and Listening Time

The company says at a minimum there are 4.5 hours of listening time on this earbud which is pretty decent considering the size of it.

Nothing Dangling

I like the idea of not having cords hanging around my neck

Can Connect to Two Different Devices

This device has the capability of connecting to two different phones at the same time.  So you can receive calls from two different phones (not at the same time) should you choose to do so (according to the company)

Microphone is Good

When making calls using this device other parties had no problems hearing me. To check the clarity of the microphone I left a voicemail on my daughter’s phone so I could hear the quality.  I would have to say the microphone is clear and people on phone calls with you should have no problem hearing you.

Cons

I don’t know that I really have a con for this device.

If I was to be picky I would only say that because this device is so small that I could see someone losing it if they don’t use the provided case to store it when not in use.

Final Thoughts

Just a reminder, I purchased this device and was not asked to review it by any company.

With that being said I really like the FOCUSPOWER F10 Mini Bluetooth Earbud.  The sound is clear, the earbud stays in my ear and the microphone works well for calls or even when I use the “Ok Google” function on my phone.

There were many times during the day when testing this device that I forgot it was even in my ear (when not actively using it).

I think one of the main reasons I like this earbud over some other Bluetooth headphones is because I am only using it on one ear and not both.  So I can hear things around me while driving or on surveillance.

As I review this it is selling for $19.99 which I believe is pretty affordable considering all the different features, especially how small it is.

Below is the Amazon affiliate link to this product.  Should you decide to purchase this device through my link I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Thank you for taking the time to check out this review.   I will see you on the next one.
